ALL BENGAL OWNERS MUST HAVE! INFO BREEDER'S LEAVE OUT! April 16, 1999 rsracing@earthlink.net (Seattle, Washington (West Seattle Area)) 42 out of 44 found this review helpful
There are not many books out on the Bengal Breed, but this one is the best! It gave us much insight on the Bengal's nature. We have other domestic cats and the Bengal was just different, the book explained the why's and how's. Our Bengal had something wrong with her legs when she was about 7 months old. We went straight to the book and it even explained the disorder that could possibly affect a Bengal. We were lucky that information was there, our breeder said they had never heard of it. A vet surgeon performed an operation on both back legs and she is perfect now. Without the detail this book gives we never would have known. We value the information highly that is contained in this book. A lot of breeders leave the less desirable things out when you purchase a Bengal. This book gives you the full story.
Great book about a great breed of cats! October 16, 1998 21 out of 21 found this review helpful
Fun book to read about a breed of cats that has a wonderful personality, amazing energy, and a beautiful coat! This book gives detailed information about Bengal behavior and disposition (even friendlier than other breeds of house cat). Gives general information on how to care for cats. After reading this book, we bought two Bengals. We believe our Bengals are human! This is a MUST-READ for potential and current cat owners in order to understand the uniqueness of these cute felines.
A MUST BUY IF YOU WANT TO OWN A BENGAL! January 26, 2000 Kittyklo@aol.com (michigan) 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
This book is full of info on everything you could posibly want to know about bengals. I bought it right after I got a bengal kitten and it has helped a LOT! It explains everything from behavior to the eating habits that they can have. I would have made many more mistakes if it hadn't been for this, now I have a happy healthy bengal! BUY THIS BOOK, ITS GREAT!

I was very pleased with this book. My wife and I would like to open a bengal cattery someday, but we had many questions about quality of cats, care, showing, this book answered about everything. It explains things in a simple way that even I can understand it : ) I loved it.
Complete guide for a Bengal cat owner or fanatic! June 7, 2002 Isabel Luff (Spring, Tx United States) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is more of a basic book that goes into Bengal cats in general. There is some detailed information but most of it is what you should look for in this breed and how to care for them. There are no photographs but only black and white drawings so do not expect otherwise. I feel it is an informative guide but more for those who are new to cats and raising them.Great beginners book for Bengal lovers!
