Cool Cat Photo Contest

Do you have a cool cat or kitten? Whether your cat or kitten is beautiful, ugly, cute, fat, fluffy, bald, glamorous, colorful, funny, weird, or wonderful, we accept photos of all kinds of cool cats to our monthly cool cat photo contest. Send us a picture of your cat, and be sure to include lots of information about him or her, including age, sex, breed (if known), where you live, what your cat likes to do, and what your cat's purrsonality is like. Your cat could be our next "Cool Cat of the Month"!

Meet Our October Cool Cat Photo Contest
Winner for 2008!

This is my Persian cat, Simba, or better known as "BABY".
My daughter gave him to her father when he was six week old as a birthday gift. We have always had dogs before, so really did not know what we were getting into. MY daughter said, oh, don't worry, he is very low maintenance. RIGHT !
He has to be brushed every day, which he loves, and have his face washed at least twice a day. He hates to have a bath, in fact, he hates water !!!!!
He eats very well, but his favorite food is bacon, and ice cream. He gets that for a treat a few times a week.
We live in a condo, and have a fenced in patio, which he has completely taken over, and acts like we are invading his space if we go out there. He lays in the sun, like a lion, and watches the birds and clouds go by.
He is a great hunter, and so far he has caught, one small spider, a fly, and a few crickets !
He is loving , affectionate, and adorable, also SPOILED ROTTEN ! My husband jumps at his every whim !
He has brought us nothing but love and joy, and is a bright light in our old age.
I cannot imagine being with out him ! He sure worked his way into hearts, big time !!!!

This is Ash. He's a longhair gray cat, who sheds everywhere. But I
forgive him. I rescued him from a shelter when he was a few months
old, and he is about 2 now. He was deathly ill at first and just
slept a lot as he recovered, but ever since then he has been nothing
but constantly funny. He has boundless amounts of energy and craves
attention. He'll sit there yelling at me until I play with him, and
rolls on his back so I can rub his belly when I get home from work.
But the best thing is he gets into everything, as you can see. He's
hung out in the fridge, assorted bags, boxes and even my silverware
drawer. I've had people tell me that they don't like cats at all, but
that mine is pretty cool. He and I were just meant for each other.

Jaspies is a 6 month old cutie. He loves to give love bites and make big feet on your face. Oh, and he loves drooling on you too. Diddle is a feisty 6 year old girl who loves to play play play! She's a sabatore so be ready to be interrupted by a needy Diddle who needs love.

Hello...
I am attaching a few pictures of my cat, since i can't decide which one to send since I believe he is the cutest cat ever (of course bc he is mine).

My name is Adriana and my cat's name is Feurious. He is 1 yrs old and pure breed Himalayan/Persian. His parents are both show cats and i was lucky enough for him to enter my life. He has the bluest eyes i've ever seen. He loves to sleep in anything w/; a dip, fruit basket, sink, tub, boxes, suite cases...anything he can sleep in he will. He is very spoiled and very smart. Lovesss popcorn. When the bell rings he sits @ the door and waits to see who comes in. He wants full attention at all times.

This is a photo of my cat Snickers. She is a three year old calico. Her
favorite toy is a bundle of colored feathers with a bell attached to a
string and a pole. She carries it around with her everywhere, in fact I often wake up with it wrapped around my arm. Snickers is a great conversationalist. Despite her limited vocabulary, she always makes her point. When she was around six months old I came home from work to
find the garbage all over the kitchen floor. I found Snickers under the
bed and she immediately ran away, which was very uncharacteristic. I
knew something must be wrong. I chased her up the stairs and realized
that there was about a foot and a half of deli string hanging from her
behind. When I finally caught her I realized tat she had eaten the
string. I had to cut the string as close to her rear as possible and
wait for it to pass naturally.

Hi, my name is Button. I just turned a year old. I don't have a regular tail like most cats do. I have a pigs tail. I LOVE to sleep under the covers at the bottom of my mom and dad
's bed. I LOVE to chase the water in the toilet. I love sleeping on my back and running around like a nut. Vote for me!!!!

My kittens name is Cheech. He is 4 months old. We live in Fulks Run, VA. I think he is the coolest cat because he is a spunky kitten who loves to carry on and loves his mouse toys, he's just so adorable and knows how to make you laugh.

Hi, this is my cat, Piston. Although Piston is an odd name for a female cat, she doesn't seem to mind. This photo was taken about two weeks ago and as soon as the picture was developed every one who saw it said it looked like something you'd find on a magazine cover. So I decided to put it into some contests just for fun! Piston is about three months old and loves to bite people's toes, dive into blankets, chase flies and play with any one of her dozens of kitty balls and kitty toys to get rid of her excess energy. In this photo she's chewing on the string for the camera while I'm taking the picture.
