Cool Cat Photo Contest
Do you have a cool cat or kitten? Whether your cat or kitten is beautiful, ugly, cute, fat, fluffy, bald, glamorous, colorful, funny, weird, or wonderful, we accept photos of all kinds of cool cats to our monthly cool cat photo contest. Send us a picture of your cat, and be sure to include lots of information about him or her, including age, sex, breed (if known), where you live, what your cat likes to do, and what your cat's purrsonality is like. Your cat could be our next "Cool Cat of the Month"!

Oliver Leroy is a 5-year old medium hair with a great, laid back personality! He was found in our backyard as a kitten, and ever since we managed to catch him, he's enjoyed a luxurious life indoors. He loves to eat and eat and eat some more, and his "hunger cries" can be heard reverberating throughout the house at numerous times of the day. When he's not eating, he's of course lounging, in all types of random positions, and fulfilling his catnip addiction. He's truly a great little guy, and definitely a handsome one at that!

We'd like to say thank you to Oliver and to Jennifer for entering June's Cool Cat Photo Contest - There were a lot of competitors last month and competition was fierce, but this cool kitten won the hearts of viewers. Macaroni is an active two year old who is ready to play at all times! Hide and Seek is one of her favorite games. It isn't always playtime with Macaroni though, she loves to help out around the house, especially when measuring things. Then when its time for a break, she makes her way to the bathroom for a drink out of the sink! When Macaroni isn't laying in your lap or sitting on your shoulder, she's off playing with her brother, Cheese. She's my little princess that loves to be pampered.

This adventurous little guy's name is Charlie. He is about 4 months old now and just loves to play. My mom gave him to me for my college graduation and he's my life now! He is absolutely perfect because he is friendly, loveable, and talks every time someone wanders into the kitchen. He will jump into your arms when he wants to be held and is the epitome of a lap cat. When he plays, he gets down to business. He is what i like to call a "jumper" because he's always hopping around, especially when seen playing with his favorite toy, pictured here. He is a total momma's boy!

This is Ozzy who we adopted from a family who could no longer keep him. Since we've had him we've changed his name to Fat Boy.
This baby of ours is just so friendly and a bit strange. I know you'll find this difficult to believe, but he can jump like a dolphin!
When he wants attention and you're sitting down, he'll jump up and bump your hand with his head.
I adore this picture of him. He happened to be "bathing" and when I snapped it, this is what I got.

This is Rockefeller. He is almost one year old and knows he is the king of our hearts. My husband and I adopted him after finding him--skinny, dehydrated, and hungry, with ears full of mites--behind my office building. He seems to have adapted easily to a life of cat luxury. His favorite spot is a white blanket on our new leather couch!! Every night, "Rocky" perches himself in the blanket in a "sitting" position to watch T.V., but eventually he snuggles down into the blanket when he gets sleepy.

This wild boy is Joe. I bought him from a tiny pet store, I don't think he was even 6 weeks old at the time. He had dirt caked in his ears, nose, and eyes. I feel sure the pet store caught him on the streets so they could sell him. I decided to get him to get him out of there. He was so wild but as soon as his little feet hit the carpet he started purring. He is a bit of a jerk to the other 2 cats that came after him, looses his appetite when they approach the food bowl, he is just offended by them but at times he can be quite sweet. He sleeps right next to me every night. When my husband first moved in Joe would sit on the dresser and stare at my husband all night for about 3 months. He's a bit protective of me, he thinks he a tough guy. If he hears an odd noise in the house he will growl like he's going to protect me but then runs under the bed. He plays hard and sleeps hard.

This guys name is Sasha. He is about a year and a half old at this point. He appeared on my porch last Sept very scared and very skinny. I attempted to locate his owners but no one ever claimed him. I fell in love with him the first night, he let me hold him like a baby and fell asleep while I rubbed his belly. He was so skinny it looked like he would not have lived 2 more weeks, I know he was someone's pet since he had already been neutered. I call him my beautiful slob due to the way he lays as in the photo. To wake me up he will take his paw and lightly tap on my eye lid and when I open my eyes he has his head tilted sideways so our eyes line up. He loves to cuddle, eat, and talk. He is now 15 pounds and loving life.

This is Beauty my cat. She is a russian blue and she is four years old. She is an indoor outdoor cat. She loves to bring us presents all the time. As you can see in this picture she is such a drama kitty. We are pretty sure she thinks she is a dog because she plays fetch, rolls over and plays dead. She is the most loveable cat ever! This is Kallie! She was born on April 29, 2008! She has 3 sisters, but only 1 who lives with her! She is lovable, but can throw a fit if she wants. She loves Water, FOOD, and to sleep! We are constantly getting her out of the kitty food sack! As you can see her face is split directly down the middle of her face, with 1 side orange and the other black! Her beautiful Blue eyes just add to the adorable face already!

My ten year old daughter Hannah found Lilly and 6 other kittens under some equipment in the back yard of our acerage. We brought them in two by two, potty trained them and put them in the paper. When all the kittens were given to Hannah approved homes except for Lilly, Dad who isn't exactly a cat lover suggested we keep the last one! That's how Hannah came to have Lilly.

Luca and Logan are 12 week old brothers that my husband and I adopted at 9 weeks. They stole our hearts with their adorable faces and amazing personalities. At any given opportunity, these boys are snuggling, playing and being lovey with one another. Choosing to adopt them together was the best decision we have ever made because not only are they practically twins, they are the absolute best of friends.
