The Bengals are very similar to dogs. They can easily be harness and leashed trained, love to play fetch and trained to sit, shake, roll over and even toilet trained. The CD we send home with them goes over how to train your new Bengal kitten and has loads of other useful information.

We know you all want to know just how big your Savannah kitten will grow up to be. Predicting exact weights and heights is impossible on living mammals. We have provided a lot of information on our website regarding the history and overall description, and characteristics of the different generations of Savannahs. (See “FAQ’S about Savannahs”.) There you will find the averages for each generation. The Savannah continues to evolve and is in its “infancy” of development. Some descriptions are just averages and may change in the future as we (Savannah breeders) continue to develop that wonderful Serval-like cat.

All kittens come with a written health guarantee, 4 – 6 generation pedigree, vaccinations up to date, and health record from our vet. Some of our breeder kittens are tested at UC Davis for coat color inheritance. All pet kittens sold with spay/neuter written contracts. TICA registrations for pets sent upon proof of spay/neuter. Requests for photographs; On our website, we provide lots of information regarding pricing, shipping, history and have spent countless hours developing photos of our kittens at certain key ages and poses. Photographing lively, quick-as-lightening kittens is difficult at best and extremely time consuming. Even though we would love nothing better than to spend countless hours photographing our kittens, we just can’t based on the high volume of requests we receive daily. Our kittens are already current on our website. We hope you understand. Kittens being held with deposits will be photographed at 7, 9, 10, 12, 14 weeks of age on requests.

Evaluating kittens for quality is an on-going process. We usually know the category and price at 7 – 10 weeks of age. However, some we wish to hold on to for a while to continue evaluating for shows kittens. The prices may not be available until our kittens are a bit older so we have provided information regarding “pricing” and “how kittens are priced”, on our website.

All of our cats/kittens are beloved pets, and hugged, petted,held, and they, as a result, come to us all the time, and rub our feet, or meow politely, telling us that they want to be petted.
My special cat,(our stud), Buford, will also jump up on the couch, and very gently pat my leg with one of his paws. He has, also slept right in bed with me, pressed up against the curve of my spine.

We are also building a Kitty Palace, an outdoor fenced in area, with perches, and even a tree, in which they may be outside, safely, and also not be a problem for birds, (who we also love. We charge $350.00 for our kittens. The stipulations about early payment are shown above. We also have, as mentioned, a **proven stud**, who may be available if apppropriate arrangements can be made. Georgia - Sharpsburg - SKINZIN - My goal is to produce happy, healthy cats that closely meet my interpretation of the CFA Breed Standard, and the breed ideal, as a whole. All my breeding, and retired cats receive cardiac ultrasounds annually. These ultrasounds are given by a board-certified, licensed veterinary cardiologist, to ensure the best accuracy possible for diagnoses of any anomaly of the heart, including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a degenerative heart condition inherent in some Sphynx lines. This is a practice that I encourage all breeders to invest in if they are to raise healthy lines. All we can do is our very best by the breed so that you, the pet owner, receive a pet that will live a long and healthy life and provide you with the companionship you desire. My concern with heart-health in the Sphynx resulted in my becoming the Key Coordinator for Sphynx HCM Research. We now have a grant for DNA research, and The Winn Feline Foundation is working hard to find the genetic marker for this condition on the Sphynx DNA. We are hopeful that this research will contribute to the elimination of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in the Sphynx Breed through a simple blood test.
